Pack llamas are your answer to packing farther, and more comfortably into the backcountry than ever before. With as little as 2 hours of training, anyone can take these charismatic hiking companions miles into the wilderness, un-guided!
About Llamas
Llamas require very little training to handle, just a 2 hour orientation and you can be off on your backcountry adventure
Llamas eat just about any forage
Llamas are part of the camel family, so unlike horses, need water only once a day but often drink only every other day or so.
Our llamas can carry between 40-60 lbs, up to 10 miles per day, so you can lighten your pack, and. camp in comfort
Llamas don’t kick like a horse, and are very safe to be around
Llamas have toes, not hooves. That means they have very little impact on trails!
Llamas are fun!
Each llama has a fun and unique personality, and is sure to add an unforgettable element of fun to any hike. Llamas are very curious, engaging and are great with children! They’re also safe, and won’t kick like a horse!
